  • Confidentiality:<\/strong> All information shared during counselling sessions will be kept confidential, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others. Our therapists adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements regarding client confidentiality.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation:\u00a0<\/strong>Clients are responsible for scheduling appointments in advance. A minimum notice of [X hours\/days] is required for cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      • Professional Conduct: <\/strong>Clients are expected to engage in sessions with respect and professionalism. Inappropriate behaviour or language will not be tolerated. The therapist reserves the right to terminate a session if the client’s conduct is deemed inappropriate.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        • Payment and Fees:\u00a0<\/strong>Payment for counselling sessions is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Fees for services are outlined in our fee schedule. Clients are responsible for any additional charges related to late payments or returned checks.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          • \u00a0Telehealth Services: <\/strong><\/strong>If engaging in telehealth services, clients are responsible for ensuring a secure and private environment for sessions. Technical issues beyond our control may occur, and we will work to address them promptly. Clients are responsible for any technical requirements on their end.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            • Informed Consent: <\/strong><\/strong>Clients are required to provide informed consent before engaging in counselling services. This includes an understanding of the therapeutic process, potential risks and benefits, and the therapist’s approach to treatment.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

              • Termination of Services: <\/strong><\/strong>Either party may terminate counselling services with reasonable notice. If a client misses consecutive sessions without communication or fails to comply with these terms and conditions, the therapist reserves the right to terminate services.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                • \u00a0Emergency Situations: <\/strong><\/strong>In the case of an emergency or if there is an immediate risk of harm, clients should contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline. Our services are not intended for crisis intervention.
